Lhotse 8,516 m
It is the fourth highest mountain in the world and located in the Everest region in Nepal. The route up to 7,800 meters is same to Lhotse and Mt. Everest from south side. The route from last camp to Lhotse summit is through the cooler. After crossing vertical route about 50 meters there is the summit of Lhotse. On the top of Lhotse there is only small place where 4/5 people can stay at a time. The nearest Mountain View from the top of Lhotse is Mt. Everest and it seems like a huge wall just to the north side, Mt. Makalu is just behind the Mt. Lhotse. Island peak is located to the south face of Lhotse. Island peak, Imja tso, and Ama Dablam are visible but far down because of the Lhotse elevation. These small mountains are below 7000 and the Lhotse is above 8000.
